Fantastic site! You're really talented and this web site showcases your talent perfectly. Congrats on getting it up and running. I agree with Kell, the pics of Ayden are the best! :)
This is a truly moving photographic elegy of respect and remembrance, that succinctly expresses the sorrow felt by millions at the passing of Michael Jackson. The fact that you have this on your blog the day after this sad event, is a testament to your good sense to live in the city that never sleeps and your quick reflexes and ability to make such a strong and touching photograph. Brava, Celena. And kudos for your striking new website! Fond regards, Leigh P.S. May I use the Apollo pic on my FB page, with (of course!) the appropriate photo credit?
As a teen, Celena’s art instructor decided she needed a new challenge and entrusted her with the only set of keys to the school darkroom. While her classmates were sketching and painting, Celena was teaching herself how to mix photo chemicals, mend broken enlargers, and develop her own photographic prints. Twelve years later Celena has never lost her eagerness to explore new possibilities in photography.
Originally trained as a fine artist, Celena brings her past experiences with various fine art mediums to her photographic imagery. These skills have enabled to her to fabricate her own sets and props for food and product photography. Celena currently works and lives as a freelance-photographer in New York City. Although primarily NY based, she is available for travel.
Celena holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree concentrating in Studio Art/Photography from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her BFA, Celena also graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turners Falls, MA.
Everything looks really good Cie! Great job and I do have to say that the photos of Ayden are the best photos on your site! :) BFITLAN ~ Kell
